Pauli believes her need for artistic expression came from her father who besides his day job also acted, danced, sang, painted and wrote stories and poetry because she likes to do all these things too.
Her books of poetry include The Sexy Muse, God and My Cat, and Generations of Me. Her poetry has been published in several anthologies including three volumes of Cookies and Poetry, Looking Out of Alhambra and Looking Out of Pasadena.
Her work can also be seen in It’s a Wonderful World, a compilation of biographical stories. She has also been published in several issues of the Emerging Urban Poets, the San Gabriel Valley Quarterly and the Pasadena Star News.
She has been listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women,, and Who’s Who of American Art. Pauli is also a founding member of the Tell It Like It Was Writer’s and performing group. She lives in La Canada with her husband Richard. They have a daughter Nancy, presently studying in Scotland, and a cat named Milo. All have been subjects of her poetry.
